About this site
If there’s one thing that might make this site a little different, it’s the idea of a parallel version of
every piece of content here.Put simply: for every page you see, there might be other versions, same URL, different words. Reload, and you might get a slightly different take. Same meaning (most of the time), just written another way. Because why settle for one version of anything when you can have a few?
Nothing groundbreaking, just a small experiment in perspective.

About me
To the other one, to Marcos, is to whom things happen. From Marcos I find out through the email, and I see his name in a list of meeting attendees, in the output of
git blame
or in a Rundfunkbeitrag bill. I like to read, to take walks with my wife, to go out for a run from time to time, maps, fútbol juggling, and computer programming; he shares these preferences too, but in a vain way that turns them into the attributes of an actor. Little by little, I am giving over everything to him, although I am quite aware of his perverse custom of falsifying and magnifying things (he usually talks to his colleagues using terms like DDD, SOLID… and I never fully understood them). I enjoy very much the act of creating something (anything) from scratch, and at work I don’t practice this as much as I would like. Marcos always insists in making these creations useful in some way… I never fully understood that either.
The About me section is paraphrasing the short story Borges y Yo.
More seriously, I’m just another humble programmer adding up technical debt. Been working as a software engineer for over a decade in industries like e-commerce, retail banking, and HR tech. My wife and live in northern Spain, where the weather is great! Not as hot as in the south, and not as cold as in Germany, where I used to live (as I get older I do feel the cold more. Echt schade!).
